No Borders Art Festival acknowledges the generous support of the Ontario Arts Council

As we get ready to present Odaabaanag this weekend, I wanted to note that Garnet is currently in need and his family is fundraising for an accessible van. He was on CBC earlier this week talking about poor experiences at the Sioux Lookout hospital where he has been living for months. I had last spoken with Garnet in the fall and wasn’t aware of his long term hospitalization.

As we’re sharing some of his stories this weekend, I’d appreciate if we could also circulate the GoFundMe with our audience and community in acknowledgement of the gift that Garnet has shared with us all.https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-a-used-wheelchairaccessible-van
